Coffee enema question

When I had testing done for food allergies and intolerances, I was told I have a severe intolerance to coffee. Does that mean I should avoid coffee enemas? I can't say how coffee affects me when I drink it or eat it in foods, because I never have had any. (When I was a little kid having "tea parties" I promised myself I'd never drink it ... I saw no reason to acquire a taste for something I thought tasted disgusting in the first place. Though I love the smell of coffee!) I have done some coffee enemas in the past, and did seem to get some heartburn, but I'm not sure if it was from that or from what I was eating at the time or some other cause.
