Re: Rape at the workplace

Firstly, I can imagine what you are going through must be very scary, and I'm glad you are reaching out and finding out about stuff and seeking support.
What you described above, could've been raped and there is a chance you might have been raped, very often, we block out stuff which was traumatic, it's a defense mechanism called repression (the unconscious "forgetting" of an event), your mind does this as it assumes by blocking out the rape, it will heal you.

Firstly, it's best to talk to a psychologist about this, hypnotherapy, stuff like that can be used to help and see what happened.

Remember though, none of this is your fault, too many rape victims blame themselves, always remember, there is no excuse for rape, you suffered because someone wanted a sense of control and power over you, and chances are the person who did this is not a person, but merely some transcient image who doesn't have any real emotion, a false face basically that can never feel empathy towards another.
You are not to blame for someone psychological shortcomings or powertrip.

I'm glad you are seeking help and remember, don't hold back, if you know who raped you, go out of your way to make sure the bastard pays, he can't feel remorse for his actions chances are, so why should you feel pity for someone that can't feel pity?
