... For that egg to hatch into a chicken, there had to be a rooster to fertilize the egg, otherwise it's just egg and never a chicken. So there had to be a male chicken around for the egg to become chicken and continue the species. Chickens DO need not just female but MALE to propagate the species. Sure, hens can lay the eggs anytime, but that sure doesn't make a chicken!
Even us humans, the female is "making eggs" all the time, but it still takes a man to make that egg a baby. ~~~It takes two, Baby~~~
