If the scientists are going to get a chance to play with their new toy, they are going to have to fake videos.

They already found a bomb on Orange Beach, Alabama (likely the corrosive Corexit dislodged it from a dumping site), so expect more explosions and tsunami waves (maybe also earthquake faults being disturbed).

BP with oversight from NATO and the help of several government agencies has successfully tested a Nuclear explosively pumped flux compression generator (EPFCG). It is a device used to generate a high-power electromagnetic pulse by compressing magnetic flux using high explosive.

"This is a great opportunity, not only to support our partners like the Coast Guard in meeting the Government of Canada's objectives for the North, but also to expand upon the Air Force's ability to operate in the Arctic," said Lieutenant-Colonel Iain Huddleston, commanding officer of 429 (Transport) Squadron, which operates the CC-177 fleet out of 8 Wing Trenton, Ont.

Not only will the operation exhibit the ability of Canada's Air Force to operate in the North -- which it does on a regular basis through search and rescue, sovereignty and reconnaissance patrols and defending the airspace of Canada and the U.S. under NORAD -- but the transport of the Coast Guard RAT kit via CC-177 is a demonstration of Canada's strategic airlift capacity.


It also illustrates the Government of Canada's consideration and respect for the environment. During Operation Nanook, the Canadian Forces will be working closely with territorial and municipal representatives to ensure compliance with their expectations for proper environmental management.

Preliminary reports suggest that the device was detonated 500 meters underground at a location deep in the Canadian Arctic.

Previous reports of Canadian troops deploying to the Gulf Coast were incorrect. British and Canadian troops were seen departing from Edmonton Alberta and the Cold Lake Air base for undisclosed training in Northern Canada.


Fort McPherson located in the Inuvik Region of the Northwest Territories, Canada is said to 80km from the test site.
ANALYSIS OF PROGRAM ACTIVITIES BY STRATEGIC OUTCOMES

The USGS and Canada Earthquake center are reporting a mild earthquake in the region registering between 3.8 and 4.2 magnitude.

Indications for the EPFCG plan point towards using the weapon to instantly melt rock and trace metals in the well shaft and surrounding area. Some sort of soft metal would also have to be pumped into the well before the EPFCG device could be detonated.

According to sources at the test site, there would be two near simultaneous explosions from the device. The first detonation would be an induced Plasma event made by an ectromagnetic pulse than would generate enough heat to melt the rock and metal, followd by a percussion wave that would briefly neutralize the huge pressure in the well. In a few microseconds thousands and cubic meters of bed rock and metal would be instantly fused together sealing the oil well.

Stage 1 of the test occurred at CFB Suffield where a non-nuclear EPFCG was detonated in a operational oil well.

Stage 2 was the testing of the nuclear percussion weapon in the high Canadian Arctic.

What can be confirmed with little effort is the sudden influx of NATO soldiers and unprecented air traffic occurring at CFB Cold Lake and the total lock down at CFB Suffield. A Calgary Sun photographer was tossed to the ground and arrested for trying to take pictures on Monday.
