Thank you for your advice - I know that drinking more is normal at the beginning as I have had experience of short fasts and this has always been the case. I tend to drink pepsi max for the 1st 2 days and then I go right off the taste and enjoy water with a little squeeze of lemon and then finally water.
Yesterday was a disaster - just couldn't get started but today I am motivatd again so this is officially day one.
I know that fasting works and I hope to come into the whole truth of the present moment with all my feelings, fears and experiences and yes it might be a white knuckle ride at first but I intend to focus on the joy and happiness of the weight I should be.
