Re: Questions about Metametrix Lab (GI Effects Stool Testing)
Hello! I am interested in having the GI Effects Stool Testing done for
parasites with the Metametrix Lab. The following are some questions that I have:
* When would be an ideal time to submit a stool sample to get the most optimal results? Before the New Moon or Full Moon? If so, when will the next New or Full Moon occur?
>>shouldn't make any difference
* How many stool samples are collected for this test?
>>you will have to check their literature. Some recommend gather loose stools since this is a sign of infection, and you might gather a couple of samples. But their testing is different in that PCR is used which is highly sensitive rather than a technician looking thru a microscope hoping to find something.
* How accurate is the GI Effects Test for parasites, bacteria, Candida and other entities?
>>Very. Make sure you request panel #2105, you do not need the full panel if you suspect infections, it will save you money.
* How long does it take to receive the test results?
>>about 2 weeks
* Were you content with the test finding?
>>everyone who tested thru them rec'd results, versus using other labs which give false negatives.
* Did the results of your GI Effects Test help you to receive the proper treatment for your bacteria, Candida or
parasite condition?
>>of course, each of the above pathogens requires different protocols so you can target effectively. It is the first step towards success.
* Is Metametrix the best lab to send stool specimens to (for
parasite testing)?
>>Only lab that has consistently given results for many posters here on CZ including myself.
Any replies, suggestions or comments would be very much appreciated! :)
>>go to their website and review the literature, watch the videos etc. Make sure you post results, I have a lot of experience with these results and there are somethings worth noting, so pm me if you like. Do you have a doctor that will submit them for you?
Thanks,
Alegre
