She probably has a fairly high tolerance for pain, so when she is in a deep sleep, her body is not responding to small discomforts and pain coming from the cut off circulation. She may be projecting astrally and giving herself nightmares to increase the blood flow with adrenaline. Her body may use all kinds of spiritual and physical mechanisms to keep the body circulating blood or trying to wake herself up. Her soul leaving her body to get help might be what the OBE's are about. If she does this to you, you might just move her pinned arm or other limb, so she can regain proper circulation. Or roll her over.
Arranging pillows so the arm is draped over a pillow or some other pillow arrangement might also help. Having the arm above the head may increase circulation. The firmness or softness of the bed may also be a factor.
I would not normally tell someone to drink or not to drink but rather to not drink any liquids after 8 PM, because her body is building up toxins and those toxins need to be released. If she is sound asleep and particularly because of drinking alcohol late in the evening, she may be having those astral projections and nightmares to awaken the body, so it will go and urinate.
As far as her sensitivities, it might be possible that she has been exposed to high levels of lead, mercury, alluminum and other metals in her lifetime that are making her very neurologically sensitive. This could be from vaccines, mercury fillings or some other exposure to metals.
She might consider chelation for metal sensitivity.
Eating lots of food with cayenne or jalepenos could increase circulation.
A tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar in a tall glass of water before the last meal of the day or in a shot glass of grape juice could help with balancing the bodies pH to release toxins.
Drinking water with a tiny pinch of Sea Salt ( Water Cure )before 8 PM could increase her bowel movements and release toxins. Does she have at least one bowel movement each day?
More pillows could help. Flat Pillows could possibly be better than puffy pillows. Try different combinations.
Diabetes has poor circulation as a factor. Look into how to reverse Diabetes in the Health Forums .
Cinnamon may counteract Sugar she gets from having a beer or eating chocolate.
I am not saying to do all of the above but do whatever works and discard what does not....
