Re: Much pulp in juice normal?

Hi solmare,

I've got the Vert and I love it too.  From the very first juicing I've always had a little pulp in the juice.  I've never measured it but if I had to guess I'd say that in a pint of carrot juice I might get a couple of tablespoons of pulp if I strained it.  I don't worry about that tiny amount of pulp.

If I'm not mistaken Uny says that its normal to have a little pulp.  She has one of the 8000 series Omega juicers and she gets a little pulp too.

I've had my Vert since the first week in January, I've used it through 3 fasts now and from time to time just to juice a glass of juice.  I just finished juicing for a 10 day kidney cleanse starting tomorrow and I haven't noticed that I'm getting any more pulp now than when I did my first fast.

I think the only juicer that yields perfectly pulp free juice would be the Norwalk for $2395.00 plus shipping and for that price I'd sure expect 100% pulp free juice!  ;)

Hope this helps.

Willow
