Hey that is a very interesting concept. My experience is this-when I was younger I had a great memory, loved to mull over remembered details of past experiences. When I got into my late twenties my recall was less Crystal C. and then when I had a health crisis three years ago my memory was with out a doubt very poor, especially when it comes to remembering past events-some memories were gone and I could not recall them without seeing photos. Now as I get healthier some of these memories are coming back and my ability to experience life in the moment is greater which I believe is key for forming long lasting memories.
I think that all of our organs/cells have the capacity to think and remember old thoughts/memories. I dont think our brain could work in tandem with our body without having this ability.
