Re: Candida and Weight Gain

Well I didnt have any weight problems until I got candida.

Are you sure it is Candida?  Many people mistake symptoms of other conditions for Candida overgrowth.

Thanks will check my basal body temperature but isnt poor thyroid linked to poor liver dysfunction.....which is down to the candida???

Hypothyroidism has numerous causes.  Hypothalamic or pituitary dysfunction, low iodine, chlorine, bromine or fluoride exposure, overconsumption of goitrogens, hormone imbalances, adrenal dysfunction, poor T4 to T3 conversion, elevated rT3, Hashimoto's thyroidosis, etc.

The only real role poor liver function is going to play is in the hormone imbalance.  And again hormone imbalances can have a number of causes.
