One good therapy for hemochromatosis is to donate blood regularly. That is good for the donor -- getting rid of the excess iron -- and good for the community. Until she gets her iron down to safe levels, she should donate once a week.
I don't know that Liver Flushing is more important for those with hemochromatosis, but caring for one's liver is always a good idea.
Have your friend donate any iron pots and pans, limit intake of iron and tell her relatives to have their iron levels checked.
