Silica-saturated water?

I know that you've already explained your method for making silica-saturated water somewhere in the OP forum, but I'm not sure where the exact "recipe" is.

What's the process if I want to use a one gallon jug? 1 tablespoon Permagard food-grade diatomaceous earth to 1 gallon of H2O, mix it up, and let it sit (how long until the H2O is saturated?)

How often do you add more DE to the jug of H2O that is regularly refilled?
