Re: Verrrry Interrrrresting!

..sorry about the lack of scale info.
I must do a calibration run on the scope/camera setup.

...then the business of a correction table for the
various presentation formats..[vga/svga/xvga]

...not a task for today..waaaay too brain fogged.

first task."find the calibration tools"
..ok, bucky, you put the calibration and ref
slides into their protective case..very good.
Now,..where is the case.
..what's that? you put it "in a safe place"?

drat. I hates it when you do that.

..magnification.. a slippery fish at times..

..with microscope a...using lens b...the mag is x...using
the Mk1 Mod0 eyeball..

..microscope a, lens b, with camera 1, the picture
output set at vga [540x480] ;..therefore, the mag is "y"..

howsumever.

if you switch to svga format [800x600]..the picture
is..BIGGER..so the effective mag is now.."z".

and..the camera has two "focus points"..when you took
the shot..were you in "low range" [somewhere around 20x]
or "high range" [somewhere closer to 200x].
...
...
..yes..definitely need a calibration test..
record some numbers..

..but..not today. maybe..tomorrow.
maybe Piglet will bring some hunny over..my head hurts.

.
