Re: Bitters...

I think I got low stomach acid because I started getting reflux when I had candida very bad in the beginning. My experience is that my reflux and candida were very much related. But, back then, I had no idea I had candida (this was over 10 years ago), and so I went to a regular doc who prescribed Prilosec for the reflux, which of course made the reflux worse, not better, because it reduced my stomach acid, when what I really needed was a boost in stomach acid. I believe that you will get more relief when candida levels get reduced. I found that when I did get little candida flares, that the reflux would show up again, too. Not bad - just enough to notice. And yeah, the bitters don't work as well then, just like you experience.
