Re: Could a 70 year fast be true? Edit; corrected an error

I see no reason to disbelieve it. But it's so disheartening that what "researchers" are most interested in, is apparently what might turn people into super-warring robots, (fodder for more wars, that don't have to be fed or watered). This is a hellish form of zombi-ism. But let's not go down that rabbit hole. :-(

There are many cases of people (in India--and elsewhere) who can and do live without food and water. Some individuals have more faith (than "the norm")in the subtle body ( and the realm beyond the phsyical)and they *know* that "man does not live by bread alone". This is not a small thing; this kind of knowing; it amounts to a level of self-realization that truly alters the paradigm.

In Paramahansa Yogananda's Diary of of Yogi ( Edit: sorry--the correct title is Autobiography of a yogi), he visits a woman in Bavaria (I think) who lives (while she lived), on one communal wafer a week. Does that constitute food? I don't really think so. It was more literally communion, for her.

I'm a little concerned about the person in question. I hope he is not being held in any way against his will...
