Re: Dementia (Alzheimers)

1) What is the cause of Alzheimer's?

A connection has been found between serious head injury and alzheimers. Some people point to aluminum and radiation as being possible causes. There is a strong link between heart health and brain health. In Chinese medicine, heart and kidneys have an affect on the brain. Given that the average person is loaded with hundreds of toxins, interactions between them may be another cause. Inflammation will be a part of it. Enzyme deficiencies and low blood protein levels may play a role.

2) What can be done to prevent it?

Evidence is also mounting for the promotion of exercise and a healthy diet to reduce Alzheimer’s risk. Avoiding tobacco, limiting alcohol consumption, staying socially active, and engaging in intellectually stimulating activities have also been shown to have a protective effect against Alzheimer’s disease. Periodically detoxifying the body and eating organic foods filled with enzymes can be helpful.

3) Once you have it, can it be treated? If so, how?

Diet, detoxification, chelation, etc.
