I believe the kefir and zinc definitely help, but on it's own will never "get rid" of Candida. I know this because I have 3 friends all using the GAPs diet to get rid of Candida, and they've been using it years now, they still have Candida, just less flareups.
Zinc deficiency is often implied in mercury and other heavy metal toxicity. (I have zinc deficiency and mercury toxicity myself). Do you have black or silver fillings? Do you eat a lot of fish?
Anyway, I'd like to know if it's working. If it works this might be good info to pass onto others. It can never hurt to have another method to get rid of Candida.
