You might be ok with a gluten wheat free diet for the next few weeks. Plenty of alternatives out there. Would you consider a colonic session, hydotherapy that might be helpful.
I am 85% gluten free and happy most of the time.
Take a look at these testimonials of people who got off gluten. Most of these people stay on the gluten diet for life because of celiac disease or they think that they must remian on it for life. I feel that if the gut repairs itself then you might be able to go back. Expect a few months to a year to heal properly. Sounds a bit like a pain but as long as I could substitute pasta,cereal, and bread I'll be ok.
