Re: overweight and celiac disease
this morning, despite the gluten-free diet of the last few days, I felt quite bad, basal temp was low, and I had so strong pain in the bones of legs and hips that I had hard time walking, no need to say it all quite depressed me. I'm not 90 years old yet! So now I am a bit less partial to the hypothesis of some form of gluten intolerance or allergy, as it doesn't seem to change much.Or is it being withdrawal? How many more days should I go on without gluten to rule out the hypothesis? the more I'm gluten-free the more I crave for a sandwich.
I would give it a few weeks and see if the symptoms clear up. If they do try reintroducing the gluten to make sure that this was the trigger. But try something other than wheat gluten if this is what you consume the most often to make sure that it is not an allergy to something else in the grain.
oddly, the thing that's seemingly resurrecting me the last half an hour is a tea made with dried blueberries, raisins, elderberry, red currant and karkade, instead of the rooibos, can you see any reason?
You have a lot of antiviral polyphenols in the blueberries, elderberry and current. So this is a possibility.
About the adrenals, I thought that constant basal temperature indicated that adrenals are ok. I also checked the eyes with the flashlight, it all seemed ok.
Body temperature is regulated by the hypothalamus and thyroid, not the adrenals. Symptoms of adrenal dysfunction include allergies/asthma, low energy, hormone imbalances, chronic hypoglycemia (drops when you don't eat), chronically low blood pressure, increased inflammation, thyroid issues, water retention, fatigue, etc.
