I don' want to fall foul of the rules against debating but I would like to point out that you have misconstrued the thyroid hormone axis. T4 is converted T3 in the tissues where it is used, not just in the liver. T3 does not chemically break down TSH if that's what you mean. There is a negative feedback loop that reduces TSH secretion (as per most of the endocrine systems). Tweet
