I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say "lighter body". Are you referring to 'SELF' after we develop a consciousness of our own (conscience)?. Many Christians have denied, rejected, and surrendered their 'self identity' so that they can no longer think freely as a true human being.

The common teaching about surrendering "SELF" and becoming a robot is completely wrong and has been twisted to mean something that The Lord does not wish of us.

How can a person...

1) repent...if there is no genuine PERSON/SELF?

2) how can a person ACCEPT if there is no "self"?

In order for a person to do something that is selfLESS, there has to be a "SELF" to begin with.

Satan's lies are not just typical lies, if they were, they could be detected more easily. Satan's lies are the result of CONFUSION (they are 'insidious', a lie within a lie based on another lie and wrong attitude, etc.).

In order for a person to help another person, they have to momentarily/temporarily forego/give up ("surrender") their own priorities/desires (technically, sometimes they might only be "surrendering" some free time and actually WANT to help). Jesus wants us to help only when we WANT to help because then we are being a cheerful/willing "giver" instead of "giving" GRUDGINGLY. We can only give cheerfully/willingly when we are a "self".

Is "SELF" (OUR spirit) what you refer to as "lighter"/inner (weightless) body?

If we have EVIL INTENT in us, we will make life a LIVING HELL, but if we have peace in our heart AND mind, then our lives will have an inner peace (the outside world will always be chaotic, but WE will have "inner peace"/heaven).

Heaven must start in the here and now (we are being PREPARED for an eternity there, but if we can't swing it NOW, where will we go?....The Lord speaks of a NEW heaven and a new earth. He also speaks of a lake of fire and "rewards"). I'm not looking to go anywhere except to peaceful sleep (my version of "heaven"....couch potato heaven,...what a coincidence, I'm there now!), but no matter where The Lord chooses to send me, I will still love Him (He could do a "Job" on me with boils and hell and I'd still love Him, satan could never end my love for God)....the book of Job was a LOVE story, not a story about "faith".

Aside from what many people might PRUDISHLY think of as irreverence, I "delight"....

1) in knowing and loving God.
AND
2) I delight in HIS WAYS also.

Psalm 37:4
"Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart".....(He knows the TRUE desires of your heart, if we really do DELIGHT in Him, He will teach us to know Him better).

Romans 7:22
"For I delight in the law of God, in my inmost self".

Notice that the psalm does not say "lawS", the ways of God are SINGULAR (whole and complete, INTEGRAL, all one in one, no separate parts), not PLURAL "lawS"/commandments/rules.

Heaven starts now with 'live and let live', respecting the human rights of the brethren of humanity (love), living quietly (not bothering anyone), being just and giving no special treatment (SHOWING no partiality) to the brethren who are IN CHRIST (they are only spiritual kinfolk and God's grace should be completely sufficient for them if they really ARE genuine).

1 Thessalonians 4:11
"to aspire to live quietly, to mind your own affairs".

James 2:1.....We can be partial in our personal relationships to loved ones, but as a practice of faith, there should be no special treatment of WORSHIPPERS (NO ONE is a primadonna)........"My brethren, show no partiality as you hold the faith".

If we do SHOW partiality in matters of the faith, then we revert back to the old law.....

James 2:9
"if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors".


If we really have chosen to be an INNER temple that belongs to the outer temple, then we have been...

Colossians 1:13.....is this not heaven?
"transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son".

We are "stones" of the "living" stone/temple.....

1 Peter 2:4
"Come to him, to that living stone, rejected by men but in God's sight chosen and precious".

...and will no longer use "text", protocol, ritual and gestures to take the kingdom by force as when John baptized with H2O...

Matthew 11:12
"From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and men of violence take it by force".

God's spirit had not yet baptized us (He can only do that if we have a spirit/conscience/self)....

John 7:39
"Now this he said about the Spirit, which those who believed in him were to receive; for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified".

Is "lighter body" referring to self/spirit/conscience?

The secret of the kingdom comes from a wisdom that is way beyond parables...

Mark 4:11
"And he said to them, "To you has been given the secret of the kingdom of God, but for those outside everything is in parables".

True, His kingdom is not OF "this world", His kingdom is OF the spiritual world/realm. Neither should we be OF this world. We are IN it, not OF it.

You're right, Job was comfortable (before and after his experience). I never heard Paul indicate that he was uncomfortable (even with all his beatings and calamities). I'm not saying that being uncomfortable is a prerequisite for God's grace, or even that SUFFRAGE is necessary (I think the suffering experience teaches CHARACTER, genuine humility, etc.).

God is not AGAINST people being rich (Job was rich.....and VERY righteous too!). God tells us that a rich man will have alot more difficulty (just like the camel, Matthew 19:24) acheiving the "inner kingdom" than someone less entrepenurial (because of stress focus on greed....it depends on the person/self).

So, look within the inner temple, don't "wait".
