 I have seen this supplement mentioned several times. Just curious.

TMG is derived from beet leaves.

It is a methyl donor made up of three methyl groups. So it is stronger than SAMe, which has one methyl group, and dimethylglycine (DMG) that has two methyl groups. And it is cheaper than SAMe or DMG.

In short the body has about 4,000 reactions in the body that require methylation. These methyl donors provide the methyl groups for the methylation. Some of the processes requiring methylation include production of hormones and neurotransmitters, immunity, energy production, cartilage repair, reduction of inflammatory homocysteine a primary cause of heart disease, stomach acid formation..........
