is it possible to end up in worse condition after humaworm?

I keep thinking in my mind of the following Bible passage in connection with humaworm...

Matt. 12:43-45a, "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first..."

I know the verses are out of context, but still it causes me to wonder... Is it possible to end up worse than before? Can you clean yourself out, and then end up with worse problems since you don't have any good organisms left to fight back? What steps can be taken to ensure a bad relapse is not experienced? Tweet
