using zapper for cancer support in dogs?

Hi all,

A friend lent me his zapper to use on my dog who has anal sac adencarcinoma. She has been on herbal supplements and a high quality diet. It has helped a great deal however her tumor has grown lately so I am willing to try the zapper also.

While searching the forum for advice I ran across a posting where someone used a zapper on their dog to great effect only to lose the dog to liver failure. I don't know how long he "dosed" for but caution is called for.

Has anyone any recommendations or advice on how I should proceed or what signs to look for in her treatment?
I am thinking of the standard 3 7/20min treatments every other day to allow her time to clear her liver. Any thoughts?

Thanks so much for any help.
