Re: damaged heart, planned fast to completion.

Sorry to read of your plight. Has it been confirmed that your heart has been damaged? It seems as though you have done so much right, especially having such a lengthy fast less than a year ago. I wish you a much improved heart as you approach week one. My fast started the beginning of lent and I may fast to my body says otherwise. Time will tell. May the day prove comfortable and restful for you.

Hi Eggcream,

Thank you for your thoughful reply. A lengthy fast, and over the past 12 months immensely nutritious eating and specific training for my heart ;). Confirmed damage... I plan to get a complete physical exam including my heart but only after the fast is completed. If i went to a dr. now and they wanted to give me drugs or surgery, i would refuse anyway, so i will let my fasting body heal itself as much as possible with a fast to completion and with Chris' recommendations before even getting checked out. I am long overdue for a complete checkup anyway. do i know my heart has been damaged based on what i feel and what my capabilities have been reduced to? Yes indeed.
