Re: That Reminds Me Of A Story
I think producing is like building a house that will have value for years afterwards. Something where you take raw products and create something of higher value.
But what happened in that story. Nothing physically stayed in the town. Each person wiped out the debt owed just in the act of seeing it. At best all you could say is debt was eliminated by the act of seeing something perceived to be of value. The town or each person didn't become worth any more as a result of all this. So in my opinion nothing was produced.
I totally agree that it's insane to buy money at interest from the fed, when congress has the right to print money without interest. Fed money only produces debt because of the interest tagged on to it. And the way they control the amount of money in circulation determines inflation. It only makes sense that the more times you cut a pie into smaller and smaller pieces, each piece will be worth less. And America has a finite worth. The only way the current system will work is if America has an infinite worth which is impossible and is why it's going to collapse.
America has been reduced to slaves that service and maintain products for the most part. We let self-centered big business and our corrupt or ignorant government ship most of our jobs that actually produce something, go to other countires. And now we're about to pay the price for our years of ignorance. Oh my God, it's 11:30 and I have to get up at 5am. :-0 bye!
