Re: "Angstrom" iodine?

Angstrom minerals seem to be the next "wave" of mineral supplementation (whether reality or hype remains to be seen). They are supposedly smaller and more easily absorbed even than colloidal. They come in a liquid.

Hard to find info that is not associated with marketing/hype sites.

(This info seems to be also assoc with some marketing, based on links at bottom of web page?)

1. Named for Swedish physicist Anders Jonas Angstrom (1814-1874), an angstrom is a unit of measurement equal to one hundred-millionth of a centimeter.

2. Due to their extremely small size, angstrom minerals are able to pass directly through cell walls. This makes them the most efficient form of mineral supplementation.

3. Angstrom minerals are one thousand times smaller than traditional mineral supplements, which are normally colloidal in nature.

4. Angstrom minerals are 100 percent absorbable by the body and require no digestion. They're also water-soluble, meaning they won't remain in the body and cause potential toxicity like other forms of mineral supplementation.

5. The National Institutes of Health first began studying angstrom minerals during the 1950s.

I tried a blend from watershed wellness that I had a really positive response to at first (which seems to have levelled off). I've kept taking it, but am uncertain how to relate more traditional mineral supplementation suggestions/protocols to this form of minerals.

Their site has some info and a video of Bob MaCauley speaking about their benefits:(I'm not associated with them.)
