"Son's dad is having a really hard time not giving the Antibiotics though he says he's giving the iodine. I'm giving 4-8 drops of SSKI mixed with 500-1000 of ascorbic acid about every four hours."

I do similar things when my kids are up to something. I never used Antibiotics on them, nor vaccinated them; Luckily their father is with me on this. We originally had the Antibiotic in store for the really though times; as a pneumonia or meningitis; but this has not happened so far.

What I use now if a lingering illness is extra Iodine painted on neck (eg if sore throat) vit C, selenium ( has anti viral properties)and Pau d Arco, (powdered herb in capsules, antiviral, antifungal)+ vit B and magnesium (to prevent fever convulsions in my youngest one)
The trick is to get it in them before the symptoms are to severe; caught early no illness have got a hold here in the two years I have had Iodine in my cupboard.
