Re: Is Effexor XR one of the "fluoridated" antidepressants?

Thanks Wombat,

Thats helpful info about the Iodine detox- needing to clean out a bit first. And confirming of my current thinking that I might be more ready for it now than previously. (I did try a couple of half-doses of iodoral a year or two ago, and was absolutely miserable, so I have been holding off. Since then I've done some major cleansing- a few Colon Cleanses and parasite cleanses, and also a serious treatment for accumulated mold toxins that I suspect were the cornerstone of my whole health situation. Oh yeah, and I got off the effexor :-). I'm also taking all kinds of stuff for my liver, and OSR as a "just in case" for heavy metals.)

I'm on the fence about whether to start the Iodine now, or wait a bit longer (maybe do another round of the cholestyramine for the mold toxins, which is indicated by my bloodwork, first?). But the more I read about the symptoms the Iodine can help with, the more I'm thinking I need it! I suppose I can always do a couple of weeks of the salt flushes, and then try starting with a small dose again, and see what happens. I do have a lot of support in my life right now, and some space/time for this kind of thing. It sounds like people are also able to take it pretty slowly, alternating days, etc.

Do you have any recommendation or things to consider when choosing tablets versus liquid?
