I prefer the cayenne tincture, heat units between 250,000-300,000. I take approx 30 drops 3X a day. It is HOT. I experimented drinking juice, eating different foods after it but it didn't help the burn. I found something very simple that works. I put the drops in a cup with just one gulp of water. Gulp it down and drink a little water real fast and then chew a piece of doublemint gum which subsides the burn in about 15-30 seconds. I'm determined to get this in my system because it's so good for the veinous system and circulation.
