The "Aid Parade".

The U.S. government is making a humanitarian show of sending aid to Haiti (which by coincidence is strangely of little effect).

WHY, in the last 50 years alone, hasn't Haiti built a more substantial infrastructure, both economically and governmentally (regulatory agencies that would make BUILDING CODES for a land that sits on an earthquake fault, more reliable communication networks, utilities, etc.)?.....

It seems unbelievable that the Haitian government would so consistently rape their own country for 50 years by selling out their own people. The Haitian political elite was too busy doing what the U.S. government wanted (keeping the country weak).
