Better Analogies

" If you had a teen aged boy and he got ahold of your keys and ran over your neighbors mailbox the blame would be on him, not you, although some would try to blame you. You created him, but he has free will. We are getting hung up on the words "created all things" not considering that these "things" get to do what they want.
"

Not a good analogy. Here's a better one.

I create a game. In the game is the concept of good and evil. It's my game. I created it and all the parameters. The players IN the game have free will but they are subject to the parameters I created. So ultimately, when they get tortured, and abused (all parameters I created) am I ultimately responsible for their abuse or do I get off by saying, I gave them free will. They didn't have to choose door number 2.

Let's look at it another way.

I create a maze. In the maze are good experiences and terrible ones. I created the maze and the potential for these good and bad experiences. I give the players free will. I will not take responsibility though because you can choose your way through my created maze. Btw I am introducing a character I know in advance will rebel against me, so I will make him the cheerleader of the bad aspects of MY MAZE that I CREATED.

Is it getting through?
