Re: Lineup - your suggestions
But what makes you think that these symptoms are related to the parasite? It is in my opinion very hard to directly correlate symptoms to an unknown parasite...
>>for me the symptoms were quite evident.
I cannot figure out within the whole spectrum of my symptoms (burning liquid in the ileus area, incredible bloating, constipation, toxins in the skin, diarrhea, pain in the bowels) which would be caused by the crypto, which would be the other guy.
It seems to me you should maybe work with a very good doctor - naturopathic or otherwise. Can't you go to a tropical disease specialist?
>>they the Infectious Disease people don't want anything to do with me. I would rather spend my $ and time on treating myself. I have emailed several "
parasite specialists" with no interest.
In any case, where would you have picked up such a parasite? I've manage to pick one up after 20 years of India, Malaysia, Thailand (of course, after numerous bouts of amoebas, giardiases, worms)
>>water is the primary source of these. although there was an outbreak from raspberries (protozoa)
Actually it seems if if your immune system is low, when the
parasite become chronic, then you'll need more than a short course. So the doctors are working very hard to restore my immunity. And this is done through HV chelation.
>> the immune system is going to be out of whack when faced with a
parasite challenge. They will change the immune system quite dramactically. Glutathione replenishment should be a key ingredient in restoring the immune system as it becomes depleted under immune system attack.
It is true that when the treatment is appropriate, the bugs die quickly... But in the case of unknown taxonomy parasites, how ever to find the proper treatment?
>>there are only a few treatments to choose from and you have to cycle thru each on them until you find the right one.
I have started heavy metals detox with IV EDTA and they will add some glutathione to my IV. Am covered on all sides.
>>economically speaking Readisorb would be cheaper
The Doctor Data Lab has diagnosed my heavy metals toxicity. But according to my doctor, they are also very good for parasite diagnosis - and they provide also the various sensitvities of this parasite to various drugs and herbs. Maybe you could try their testing for
parasites if they come up with something.
>>DD uses old style methods of diagnosing
parasites which you have about a 5% chance of finding. See Leo Galland's articles concerning parasite diagnosis. They could diagnose if 1. you have the cysts in the stool and the microscope tech finds them. 2. if the tech can actually identify the species, if they cannot identify you get a false negative.
You are right, protozoa are the demons of all bloody parasites. Really difficult to get rid of even when you know what you're dealing with.
Cryptosporidium in immunodepressed patients (like Aids) is really really hard to get rid of. It keeps coming back even after weeks of treatment.
One drug investigated is Letrazuril. Right now I am in such pain, and feel so worried about having this goddamn crypto for so long - like my intestines are never going to be ok again, that I'm ready to give drugs a try.
Letrazuril seems to be working for some Aids patients in 7 days or something. So if Aids patients can recover with this, maybe can I too.
>>never heard of it, will look it up. Try using acupuncture points. I use a protocol which uses several points one of which is ST36, it is an important point and seems to help me.
Maybe you want to try this? Seems really nasty one though.
