Re: Vitamins for Hair Loss which you Need for Hair Growth

Copper supplements absolutely did not help with the graying process, so fuggedaboutyou Dr. Wallach.

Low copper can cause gray hair, but so can other things such as a phenylalanine/tyrosine deficiency.  Herbs that will help with gray hair include fo-ti (he shou wu), sage leaf and rosemary.  It takes times though as the hair has to grow out.

Don't know about the difference between E and Tocotrienol. Got any other suggestions for E sources?

Vitamin E is not a single vitamin. It is a group of vitamins consisting of three tocotrienols and three tocopherols.  If using supplements look for a mixture of natural tocotrienols and tocopherols.  Good food sources include wheat germ, watercress and dandelion leaf.

Hair loss with lots of soy and veggies was the same as when not eating lots of soy. Am addressing thyroid and adrenal issues. Will not worry, but this kind of smacked me in the face.

There are  number of reasons for hair loss including thyroid, DHT, infection, autoimmunity, metal exposure, etc.
