One meal a day?

Apologies if this post is repetitive, but I'm not sure how to go about finding whatever previous discussions must have been had on this topic.

I was reading random curezone posts off of a search for "concentrace" attempting to see how people thought it would interact with iodine, considering that the number one trace mineral in their list is bromide, and I didn't realize this until after I bought it. The conclusion I reached from reading people's thoughts is that it might be good to take for a short time, if one's previous habits are likely to have lead to mineral deficiencies, but that it would not be such a good idea to use as a long-term habit. Am I right?

But that is not my main question...my main question is about a post I noticed by trapper:

It says it's only necessary to eat one small meal a day? Am I misunderstanding? I have not heard this point of view before, even from many different naturopath-ish people. It seems to be generally accepted that you need at least 2000 calories a day to have enough energy, and I hardly think you could get that from one small meal no matter what you ate.

So I am just wondering, trapper, what you meant by that, and if you could go into more detail about what kind of things such a small, nutrient rich meal should include. Personally I don't really enjoy eating all that much...I'm mostly just concerned about how to get my body to have as much energy as possible and my mind to be as free and creative as possible. So the less I have to worry about eating, and the less money I have to spend on all these health products, the happier I would theoretically be.

Explanation and/or links, please please please :)
