i get a roasted chicken and boil it in distilled water. i set the broth aside, pick the meat off the bones that i want and then throw the rest back in the pot, bones and skin and any innards(gizzards and livers and such) handy and boil in more distilled water and a couple of glugs of braggs ACV. i boil it till i cant smell the vinegar any more. strain that liquid, put it back in a clean pot and start tossing in the carrots and Celery and rosemary, etc while it simmers. keep adding and cooking and add the original broth in(i also throw in a little organic soup base for flavor if needed) and add the chicken meat back in at the very last. i also like baby portabellas sliced thick and thrown in. by the time i am done the stuff is half digested! oh yea, i cheat and buy the frozen egg noodles. a good mom would never do that! lol ;)
almost forgot. i cook the noodles in the chicken broth before adding it back into the big pot. they are savory.
