The blood sacrifice is far removed from the average person. It makes the act tolerable that way.

Look at how society cushions the reality of what is being done. We don;t eat cow. We eat beef. Chicken is Poultry.


Also certain animals have been allotted for our accepted consumption. People would be appalled to think of eating dog or cat or dolphins. But a pig?

Conditioning.


I think if most people had to kill what they ate the vegetarian population would grow exponentially over night.
