What type of diet do you have? What type of Iodine do you take and how much of it, how often?
Avoid eating too many brominated foods. For instance, look on the ingredients of some breads - look for brom-anything. You'd be surprised when you check out food labels and understand every ingredient that affects your physilogy... but, not everything has to be listed on labels. Natural foods even have laced pesticides and contaminants.
In your case, the simplest solution seems to be in decreasing Iodine dose. Or, don't play Halo after taking iodine. :)
