Re: Potassium deficiency

Potassium is not only an electrolyte, it is necessary to regulate your electrolyte levels in general. Most people don't get enough, or they get too much sodium chloride in proportion to it, and that is one cause of high blood pressure. I was severely depleted when I began flushing, and I ended up in the ER because I took too much Epsom Salts and couldn't adjust easily. Now I eat bananas and potatoes, especially when I'm flushing, and no problem.
