Re: heart palpitations?
Hello Ruffneck,
toxemia can include heavy metal poisoning of course, so VeryGnawty is spot on with her assessment of neurotoxicity.
Toxemia though is toxemia whether of an endogenous or exogenous origin, so it is unlikely that foods such as chlorella (a known heavy metal detoxifier) will offer any improvement because of your sensitivity and digestive issues.
If you are unable to tolerate or have sensitivity issues to coffee, alcohol and many other foodstuffs then a fast should really help to eliminate this, but whether a 7 to 10 day fast will suffice is questionable: I would say nearer to a 10 to 15 day fast will be much more beneficial.
I wouldn't worry too much about your weight at the outset of your fast, as even those who are underweight can safely fast for up to 20 days or more, (I started my first 25 day
Water Fast at only 8 and a half stones) when ideally I should have been about 11 stones, but it is imperative that you rest as much as possible whilst fasting, and where bed-rest is the ideal to conserve your food reserves and therefore preserve your weight.
Both how you break your fast..............

............and your post fast diet is imperative to its success, and where I would strongly suggest that you adhere to a plant-based diet that is properly combined. This will help digestion enormously and aid in the further elimination of toxins indefinitely.
