thanks for the post. i ve been vegetarian/vegan/raw for a really long time and i dont really eat high protein foods. i guess my concern was weight loss leads to loss of everything including muscle and i didnt wanna start anew :). but i did a 7 day fast. had to stop because of phantom tailbone pain. and my strength and endurance are better than before so now i know that in the long run the results are amazing :)
as for the reply saying fasting and taking protein. i read somewhere that it lead to people's kidneys failing from too much uric acid. so please never do that. makes sense because fasting is abstaining from food and protein is dirty fuel so it would be very charging on the system.
