Hi, thanks for the info about how it may be a protozoa infection. I found a clinic in Toronto today who said they do the Metametrix GI Effects Stool test but the cost for it will be $600 + $200/h first consultation fee! Then I presume I will have to have another $200+ consultations after I get the results. Then I am presuming I will have to pay a lot for whatever drugs are prescribed after the results are returned. So this will end up being over $1000 easy or maybe even much more as I have no idea. I can't afford these kinds of amounts now and they said they are not covered at all by OHIP.

You mentioned that Miracle-Mineral-Supplement never worked for you, did you have a protozoa infection or Tapeworms or similar type of long term bacteria/worm causing diarrhea? What were your symptoms and length if it is ok to ask?

Can I ask you after you had your Metametrix GI stool test what were your results and what specific drugs did the doctor then prescribe for you based on the results? And are you still taking them all? Have you got rid of what you had yet?
