Re: Fasting and... Optimal Exercise

Quotes by Chris:

"I think you will find though that the only reason you will "feel better" during and after some exercise while fasting, is that toxins are being inhibited from entering the bloodstream."

"It is the process of toxins entering the bloodstream during a fast, under ideal conditions of complete rest, that makes the faster feel worse, sometimes nauseous, weak and sick."

Hi Mamaducky,

With maximal respect for you as always, i have come to agree with chris on this.  In my own experience in my most recent fast of 30 days, i was walking briskly for 2 hours per day in the first 21 days and felt great and energetic each and every day.  When i brought the exercise down to about 15-20 minutes/day over the final 9 days i felt greater elimination symptoms through i believe greater elimination, through i believe a greater level of rest.  The experience made me realize that i want to exercise minimally in the next one.

So chris, to most optimally balance complete rest with lymphatic action to achieve the greatest possible amount of elimination and healing in a fast, would you recommend about 5 minutes of gentle rebounding three times per day... or... ?

Thanks again!
