You don't say how old this dog is, but several times you mentioned he/she was a puppy. A PUPPY!!! A baby, for crying out loud.

I feel bad for this little guy, as it sounds like he might get dumped, and if that is so, the sooner the better...

Otherwise, just calm down. They don't stay little for long, and once grown up, if they get the proper training, they sould calm down. You also don't mentioned the breed, as that would have a lot to do with this...and how long it might take for the puppyish behavor to stop...

Give him some juicy bones to chew on when he gets bored. That should keep him busy....this can be done outside if you have a safe area out there. Tweet
