You gave a lot of good information on dog training, and I thank you for posting. Unfortunately, that's not my problem. Actually our dog is very well behaved (except the jumping that my husband reinforces during play). She's good and gets lots of exercise.

My problem is that I don't enjoy owning a dog. And my husband loves the dog. Since posting, I've reflected that there isn't much to do and I'm putting this problem into the "suck it up" category. Do I love my husband more than I'm annoyed by our sweet but needy puppy? Yes, I do, by a long shot. When she's older, she and I will get along a little better. Right now she loves play but I prefer a lovey animal (like my super sweet super cute orange fluff ball kitten - you should see how cute and sweet she is!!!).
