RX for "low thyroid" while pregnant in 1956...

Hi Hv,

My mom told me that she felt "horrible" when she was carrying me (4th of 5 pregnancies) wayyyy back when in 1956 and she was diagnosed with "low thyroid". The OB gave her "something, thyroid medication" that she no longer had to take after the delivery. Could you even begin to speculate what she would have been given? Thanks.
