I agree that the best approach is a multi-faceted one. The problem is that without a definite diagnosis, it's difficult to know how to go about treating the condition. For example, I'm on a low carb diet for candida as this is generally accepted as a treatment for candidiasis. However, it may be that I have a toxic liver and not candida, in which case a low carb diet is probably not the best form of treatment. It's frustrating as I have no lack of willpower and am willing to do whatever is takes, but without a definitive diagnosis, I remain in the experimentation phase.
