I'm gonna do it, baby!
I have been planning on doing this liver flush thing because it sounds cool and I'm hoping it my help my complexion a little. I don't have bad acne, but i have pretty large blackheads on my nose and acne on my cheeks and forehead. I really was just interested because flushing stones out of my liver sounds fun for some reason.
Anyway, I'm 19-years-old and male. My efforts to do the liver flush the past week kept being thwarted by my mom who kept cooking such good dinners (curse her :P). Anyway, today I had a gallstone attack. I never actually knew what I felt were gallstone attacks until I came here. I usually associated them with gas, not realizing that they seemed to last for at least 30 minutes each time. Well today a little before lunch time I got a really sharp pain in my side. It was sooo bad and remembering stuff that I had learned from this website, I ran to the nearest drug store (CVS) and bought a 16oz bottle of water and some epsom salt. I then went to my car, poured half the bottle out, poured some epsom in, maybe about two teaspoons, shook it up, and drank about 3/4 of it. Actually the taste isn't that bad. Anyway, it helped... the pain went away slowly over the next 20 minutes.
Well now I'm not going to delay any longer! I'm doing this liver flush thing on friday, no matter what! I'm going to do the recipe that involves two servings of epsom followed by OO/Juice and two more epsom servings in the morning.
I'm just curious, should I drink a lot of grape juice or something until friday to help break down the stones? Also, I just read somebody had some violent reaction to the toxins released by the flush and should have had a colonic. My question is, how do I even go about getting a colonic? I read the FAQ and I couldn't find info about actually getting it done. Second, how much stale bile or other toxins could I possibly have in my liver? I'm only 19.
Finally, I hope I'm well enough to play Ultimate Frisbee by 2PM on Saturday. As long as I'm done crapping, I don't care how tired I am, I'll still play.
