The devil has no HOLD (can only tempt) on a righteous man.

Poetic Justice is that (God built poetic justice into everything), people judge others harshly because their conscience is judging them harshly...(the "mirror")...

We do unto others what our conscience is doing unto us.

...meaning that people with "bad attitudes" (schemers, scammers, underhanded, sneaky, deceptive, warmongers, haters, etc.) will have a NEED for the rest of their lives to constantly redeem their conscience and their ego because their conscience knows the truth about them and haunts them. In other words, the reason they mock/ridicule and belittle other people is (they have low self esteem in their conscience)...

...they NEED to feel that they are better than other people (they have low self esteem because their conscience knows the truth about them...that they are 'slimedogs'). They are NEEDY and pathetic (insecurities). They are in their own chosen kingdom (HELL, not to say there isn't also an afterlife hell).

In time, with a little more understanding, you will notice that your conscience is at peace (once you get off your case) because your chosen kingdom is...
...........................God's kingdom (out of misunderstanding, you may sometimes be like the prodigal son...which is how God treats us also).

In Christ, we have been "transferred into the kingdom" (Colossians 1:13)...

...and if we are "good and right and true", we will receive the "guarantee" of ETERNAL LIFE (salvation has already been accomplished and made available to everyone on earth, Colossians 2:9)...

2 Corinthians 5:5
"He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee" (we are being PREPARED for ETERNAL LIFE).

Ephesians 1:14
"which is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it".

When those schemers and scammers hang out with drug dealers, perverts, murderers and the like, they don't need to PRETEND that they are "better" (they ARE "better" than murderers,...TECHNICALLY), but when they meet someone who is conscientious and principled (a person of integrity, you), they all of a sudden have the need to pretend to be "better" (they resent you because you make them look bad without even trying). Like the bible, you are the "mirror" that shows them their "natural face"....

James 1:23
"natural face in a mirror".

The reason they will receive the rewards of this world is because that is what they're after (and they cooperate with each other, they all 'play the game'). They have no real idea of what it means to be a "SELF" (REAL individual) and have a "SPIRIT". Soldiers have a fighting and protective spirit ('warriors' only have a fighting spirit). Sports players have a 'team spirit'. We are to have a peaceful and just spirit that is humble (good and right and true, we should not 'religionize' Godliness).

The reason so many false beliefs have been believed is "SELF abasement" (Colossians 2:18). It doesn't simply refer to the belittlement of "self", it causes us to FORFEIT a "self"/identity. It is very dehumanizing/demoralizing and prevents a person from thinking and reasoning as a free thinking human being.


God is the creator of 'natural man'. As we grew up in this world, we learned many bad habits/attitudes and misuse the knowledge gained in the Garden of Eden, that is why it's not good enough to simply know the 'theory' of good/evil, we have to know it in PRACTICE (daily life)...

Hebrews 5:14
"trained by practice to distinguish good from evil".

In the first chapter of Romans, God mentions that everyone has seen the "EVIDENCE" of His creative work, but when people have a mocking attitude about the real world around them, they DISREGARD the evidence and ask for PROOF (evidence and proof are not exactly the same thing, they are only RELATED to each other). EVIL requires STUPIDITY and is not LOGICAL,...meaning that, in order for a person to intentionally cause evil/controversy (the DESIRE to cause evil), they must...

1) first create an atmosphere of confusion/uncertainty and chaos, notice that next time a person disagrees with you and wishes to ARGUE with you, they will choose their words carefully (like "EVIDENCE" and "PROOF" in order to confuse the situation). Yes there is a god of confusion that uses those who are corrupt.

2) not complete their thoughts (they subconsciously cannot allow themselves to be logical/rational,...they are cooperating with the god of confusion but don't know it).

The good feeling you get is CONSCIENCE (somewhat rare and very Godly). The bad feeling is most likely YOU getting on your case. Don't be prudish about right/wrong (man's code of "morality", God teaches GOOD/EVIL ethics).
