The worst thing i ever did for my health was listening to Doug Graham, i almost died. Many people on raw vegan forums also had problems on the 80/10/10 diet. I dare you to find one person who's been on that diet for more than 5 years, people don't usually last more than a few months before they start cheating or feeling weak.
Anyway, i'm actually glad i went on that diet (was 5 months on it), it opened my eyes on the importance of raw animal fat - one night i was browsing youtube searching for clips about raw food and randomly found this video that changed everything for me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CECwj-t-Cpk
it was the 1st time i had heard that some people eat raw meat, that woman is an ex raw vegan so i was rather intrigued when she said raw meat is what's saved her health.
It's usually very difficult to reason with raw vegans, i know i was one myself, so once you realize that 80/10/10 diet doesn't work and fat is no longer the enemy, remember this post and look up on google either: "primal diet", "raw paleo" or "aajonus", could save your life.
